French Lessons

“There are many things that I appreciate about Carine, two that stand out for me are Carine’s knowledge of what to teach and how to teach”

Terry Young, Investment Banker

Lesson Types

I offer three types of classes: formal lessons for all levels, one-to-one tutoring, and finally, conversation-based lessons for intermediate and advanced students.

My lessons are aimed at hard-working students of all levels. I provide a very relaxed learning environment and I adapt my teaching style to the student’s needs and personality. I type up to 90% of what is said during the lesson, which allows you to review new vocabulary, grammar and expressions between lessons.

Please note that the use of Skype is required for all French lessons. Please provide a valid Skype ID when booking your first lesson.

The formal lessons for intermediate students make use of the Alter Ego B1 and Alter Ego B2 standard textbooks. All materials will be provided as part of the course.
